HARD.

THE CHALLENGES / BODY

ONE SIDE AT A TIME.

Sixty, one hundred or one hundred and sixty lunges, alternating legs, as many sets as you need. Balance, patience and burning quads.

A person mid push-up on a concrete rooftop at dawn.

THE CHALLENGE

Lunges or split squats, alternating legs. Split them into as many sets as you need.

  1. LEVEL 160 lunges (30 per leg).
  2. LEVEL 2100 lunges (50 per leg).
  3. LEVEL 3160 lunges (80 per leg).

WHY IT'S HARD

Unilateral control makes the workload substantive without a speed contest.

DO IT RIGHT

Controlled form on every rep. Rest as needed between sets. Stop for pain, dizziness or illness; an unfinished day is fine. Scale the movement, never the honesty.

HOW IT WORKS ON HARD.

Everyone gets the same challenge on the same day. Say I'M IN, take as long as it takes, then say I DID IT on your word. Your friends see you show up.
